“THE SPACE IN WHICH ART IS CREATED SHOULD BE INDICATIVE OF THE CALIBER OF WORK CREATED WITHIN THAT SPACE”
When it comes to the creative process, we believe that one must be in the ideal space to allow that creativity to come forth. It is with this maxim in mind that we have curated the Blackhammer Company creative space in Bozeman, Montana to house the services of Wilson Raska (art / design / screen-printing) and the studio and gallery for Elaine Hansard of Waterhorse Bronze. Both artists are continually developing their personal bodies of work and are available for commissions.
The space itself is designed to accommodate visiting clientele and to facilitate a stimulating environment for the discussion of all potential collaborative ventures. In addition to the workshops, the space features several furnished meeting areas, a full-size conference table, theater setup for screening visual media, and dynamic lighting throughout to serve as an extraordinarily unique backdrop for content generation, pop-up shows or other gatherings.
Inquiries regarding collaboration with either artist or further information pertaining use of the space can be directed here.
GRAPHIC DESIGN AND ART DIRECTION
With over 20 years of experience in the field of freelance graphic design, the majority of which being in the music industry as a member of several bands, Wilson has established a distinctive style and garnered a substantial following for his art. His work draws influence from classic rock ‘n’ roll iconography and street art aesthetics and combines it with a deep understanding of symbolic esoterica and religious themes to provide a unique blend of impactful visuals which also convey a deeper meaning within the subtext of the imagery.
In addition, Wilson has explored the various avenues of collaboration with other artists and businesses to create rich and comprehensive customer experiences, particularly in the realm of deluxe album releases for several bands. These endeavors run the gamut from extensively-layered vinyl gatefold albums incorporating puzzles, currency systems and calendars, to custom coffee, beer, and vodka packaging, to lavishly ornate chess sets crafted from walnut and bronze. It is this extensive experience with collaboration and creative direction that adds considerable value to any potential working relationship or project development. Inquiries regarding these services can be directed here.
Wilson has established his own brand, Blackhammer Revival as a further expression and exploration of his personal aesthetic and vision.
SCREEN-PRINTING AND APPAREL DEVELOPMENT
Fifteen years of experience in the screen-printing business has given Wilson a deep understanding of the art form and the myriad techniques which can be utilized to deliver a wide range of results. Seeking the elevation of the craft beyond the mere application of logos to swag, he now sets his sights on working with clientele with an eye toward developing lifestyle brands which require cohesive aesthetics across apparel lines and who are looking to establish a consistency of quality over an extended period of time. This type of working relationship allows for far greater depth of communication and camaraderie than will be found in your average print shop.

WATERHORSE BRONZE BY ELAINE HANSARD
Elaine Hansard is a self-taught artist known for her bronze sculptures of wildlife and mythological goddesses alike. Inspired by her upbringing near Yellowstone Park and an unconventional childhood focused on spirituality and survival, her work blends beauty with resilience.
When she was four years old, her family moved from California to Bozeman, Montana to build a fallout shelter. She was raised with the belief that world war was inevitable and decided to choose bronze as her medium, as it would survive beyond the apocalypse. Elaine pours her passion and positivity into each piece, believing that bronze, a natural conductor of energy, can transmit this energy to all who experience it.
Elaine is open for commissions and her gallery and studio are available for visitation by appointment. Please direct all inquiries here.
